Don't take that too literally. I was trying to emphasise the point that unless you have a really really old/out of date/obsolete Tv that was built many decades ago, chances are your modern Lcd is going to work.

yes they do my son got a 1080p tv for christmas and he doesnt actually have a hdmi cable for his xbox so i was trying to see what looked less fuzzy 50 or 60hz and i think it was red dead redemption undead nightmare that refused to load unless the console was set to 60hz
Can anyone recommend a low input lag 32" 1080p TV?

Blue Dragon and Dead or Alive 4 clearly states its 60hz only on the front and back of the box.

If your going to be using your HDTV with a HD source then the 60Hz support isn't an issue as it doesn't matter anymore. What does matter is which HD resolution's it supports, 720p 1080p etc.
The problem is only if are intending on connecting to an SD source (i.e connecting over SCART or composite connections) with games that only support 60Hz - the chances of any modern TV not supporting 60Hz over these connections is pretty slim, but why would you be doing this on a HDTV anyway...
