I write something, it doesn't make much sense because I've worded it wrong. Then edit accordingly.

I'll mash F5 in case somebody quotes me, but after a couple of hours I'll stop doing that and go to sleep.

Oh, and edit out any typos to the limit of my ability, so I can lol at other people's in order to give myself a miserable sense of purpose.

I'm really a fire and forget kinda guy but if I see a spelling, punctuation or grammatical error I'll edit even if it's months after the post.

I tend to write a post in the quick post box at the bottom, then delete it before posting because it often reads like a child has found some crayons.

I'll edit after I post quite a bit although I used to do it within the window where it doesn't show up as an edit (~2 minutes) and usually mark it as such by //edit. However as a Don there's no time limit to this editing function so I've always got to mark in where I edit if I want people to be aware it has changed at all.

I always do that. But i never do it to add text to catch someone out. I just edit it because i want to add more or say something else.This other forum i know if you have two replies in a row it auto combines them in to one reply.
