You think correct. The 560 is just a refreshed 460 with 15% more shaders (actually the 460 had one-eigth of it's clusters disabled so as not to pee on the GTX 470's fire). I have owned and tested 5 GTX460's (2 ASUS, 1 MSI & 2 PNY) and all of them managed 900MHz and the best hitting 950MHz stable. If Nvidia have also refined the process (as they did with GF110) I don't see why GTX560's should not hit 900-1000MHz. Overclocked to those levels GTX560 might come close to 6900 performance although it will not be a direct competitor.Also i thought that the 560 was a revision of the same chip in 460, with extra shaders enabled and faster stock speed, surely it wont overclock much if it is stating at 820 on the same chip - is it not just higher starting clock (OC)? I cant find much about it.
