Does the answer annoy you?

2 Mile journey, to average 60mph you must travel a mile a minute, thus the journey must take no longe that 2 minutes

By travelling at 30mph it will take you 2 minutes to complete 1 mile, resulting in having no time left to complete the second mile.
 
There are some thick people in here

MPH is a distance over time you can't go changing the time or distance to make the answer fit the question


Think of it this way, if it was a racing game and you had to reach the finish line in in 2 mins to have an average speed of 60mph

But the first mile is done at half the required speed (30mph) so thus takes twice the time you are required to do the fist mile so you are out of time so to speak by the time you reach the halfway point.
