Does what you drive change your posting style...

Are you saying you would rather drive X car costing £500 rather than a brand new Corsa? Just looking for clarification.

That's a rather specious argument, because you wouldn't go out and buy a new Corsa if you didn't want one. And if it was a choice between being given £500 to buy a car and being given a new Corsa (worth £7000 ... or whatever they cost) you'd take the Corsa, sell it, and buy something decent instead.

I think what Fox meant is that at every price point from new, down to £500, he would rather own any other car than a Corsa. If he had £500, he wouldn't buy a Corsa, if he had £2000, he wouldn't buy a Corsa etc.

I got rid of a 2003 CTR for a 1995 import MX-5.

I've gone from "chav" to "gay" in forum terms and its hardly reflect on here at all.

I like to think of myself as one of the most objective posters on this forum, but I am better than you all as I drive and Audi, you MUST know this m'kay.

The question was answered. Move on.

I was a massive ****** before I bought my BMW and behaved like it on the interwebz, the difference is people on the road now know this about me without having to speak to me.

No my car does not influence the way I post, my personality does.

well from my perspective I've driven some lovely cars and I've driven some toilet cars, I'd like to think along the way my posting style has remained reasonably standard. Driving a ferrari shouldn't automatically give you a god complex, if it does then most posters here would quickly shun you in favour of people with realistic input.

"i need an oil pump for my fiesta"
"ultra lol my ferrari hand brake cable is worth more than your car"
"thanks for that"

It's a discussion forum, if you don't like people commenting, move on yourself.

So you want to discuss my question and go off topic?

Why are you wrongly assuming I didn't like you asking? I just don't think it's worth discussing further. The question was asked and answered without any fuss.

Why are you making something out of this

I don't think there have been any changes with the cars I've owned, if anything it's enabled me to offer more informed opinions and to share a more unique knowledge.

That said, I owned a 430 and I feel no need to discuss it with you mere mortals. :D :p
