Does what you drive change your posting style...

I don't think the car you drive affects your posting style. There is one man on here who has owned and access to more exotica than any of us will ever get a chance to see in their lifetime and that's iceman (apologies I forget the full username). And he is one of the more humble when contributing to threads. Others with access to nice metal don't particularly come across in a particular way because of what they drive. (I'm thinking DiamondMark, Housey, Spie and Will for example).

I think personality, age/maturity etc. are far more relevant. Can you think of an exmaple of someone who drives a nice car who posts in a different style outside of motors than in it? I wouldn't have thought so.

That said, I owned a 430 and I feel no need to discuss it with you mere mortals. :D :p

As I owned the classic 1994 Nissan Sunny SR does this mean I need to feed you grapes and fan your face with palm leaves?

:(

So you want to discuss my question and go off topic?

Why are you wrongly assuming I didn't like you asking? I just don't think it's worth discussing further. The question was asked and answered without any fuss.

Why are you making something out of this

I'm not.

You've also got to remember that a lot of us have been here a long time. I started posting on this forum when I was 16 years old. So obviously I've changed since I passed my driving test but thats because I'm older and have over time developed new opinions etc etc.

Do you not think It's more that peoples taste and opinions are reflected in what they then choose to drive rather than the other way round?

Somebody chooses car X because he thinks Y, rather than thinks Y because he drives X?

Or is this just a thinly veiled troll thread?

I would definitely expect there is a lot of the latter as well.

Since going VW I keep getting urges to invade Poland

Not me.

I think I look great nowadays, scrub that I *know* I look great, and i'm a great singer to boot, but I have deep-seated emotional issues. Think my bones are wasting away slowly too, god im turning into a hypochondriac.

Haha, that does sound pretty good though :p

But no, in all seriousness, I enjoy being able to share my experiences with others. That said, I enjoy the views of many other people here too, some with similar experience to mine and some without. Housey and Mark, you guys always give me a good laugh and in many ways they serve to solidify opinions that I already have.

My life experience has just taken a weird turn. God Damn stabbing right outside my office. Guy who got stabbed is the local minister of Justice...

One of the things that we know is... It's not how you stand by your car, it's how you post about your car.

I usually just read motors, not really post. As a result I don't really know what other people here drive...
I don't really think it makes a difference though, it seems to be fairly normal opinions.

When you say "stabbing", do you mean "hit and run by a GTA"?

*brings mood down crashing to the floor*

Wish I did. Mayhem outside my office. Local Minister for Justice (dressed in civvies), seemed to have got stabbed in the lower back, blood everywhere on the poor guy. As I work in a government office the place was up to a few mins ago crawling with coppers. Man I feel weird, that kind of thing doesnt happen round here.
