Does what you drive change your posting style...

Some people seem immune, hell some here drive bog standard fiestas yet post like a seasoned F1 veteran. It's all very confusing.

That's because it doesn't matter. Posting style and the the way people react to you on here is nothing to do with what you drive.

Unless it's french, then you're gay.

Absolutely no influence at all. The 6 cylinder Bavarian machine currently sitting on my drive has no bearing on me or on how I post.

Nor does the PC I'm posting from, complete with Intel i7 processor, complemented by the ATI 6870 graphics card which enables a great picture on the Dell 30" screen - excuse me a second - the iPhone 4 is ringing - now - where was I - I was going to talk about the great pictures I've just taken on my Canon in the Photography forum.

In fact, none of this influences me at all, not even the rather excellent beer* I'm drinking.

I drive a bright yellow Renault with one of the most awful styles of interior cloth I have ever seen. I don't post often and a lot of the time I find myself typing something and then deleting it all as I fear I will not be taken seriously or mistaken as gay.

You've also got to remember that a lot of us have been here a long time. I started posting on this forum when I was 16 years old. So obviously I've changed since I passed my driving test but thats because I'm older and have over time developed new opinions etc etc.

I think this is a huge factor. Life itself changes people, this is what will be reflected in posting styles more than the car that is driven.

However, I do believe there are some people who will post differently when they feel they have a better can than the people are talking about in a given thread.
Thankfully that seen isn't so often on here.

Get back to drinking man, you're on holiday :)

Oh I Know Mark. :o

Sadly, despite being in (very) sunny Spain at the mo, my 14 year old daughter can,t it seems, last more than 24hours without a fix of Facebook,MSN,Bebo & the like so I find myself here posting again in a local Webcafe (1 euro per 1/2 hour! :( )

And another thing I have found is Spanish "QWERTY" keyboards have a different layout to UK ones - most confusing!

Drinking is good mind you, less than 2 euro for 2 litres of 8% Sangria! :D

On a side note, I was looking at a LHD e38 740d this afternoon too!

Sad sad sad - I know! :o:D
