Not directly, but a lot of our companies income is from the government, but we could survive easily without it.

Well I did work for a company that did mainly government contracts....budget cuts = not good

Indeed. It's not as if the public and private sectors are completely unconnected. A lot of private companies are heavily reliant on government contracts.

Private sector but building 75% social housing so 75% of my income comes from the state for my service, then I pay 40% back and get child benefit for my kids. Wife works for a big pharmaceutical company so most of that will come from the state
