Dog in shop

lol
and what makes me laugh is they do have a sign on the door saying " hoods are to be removed before entering the shop "
but nothing about dogs !

What's your point? I imagine it's because people wearing hoods entering the store is far more common than people bringing in dogs as most people will just tie them up outside.

my point is fenris
if they can have a sign stating that hoods are to be removed, can they not have a sign to state that dogs are not allowed in the shop ?

They can yes, however it doesn't matter if they don't. Your original question has been answered, sign or no sign they are well within their rights to say no to anything being in their store, be in dogs or flip flops.

Maybe suggest this to them to avoid any further confusion?

It's a pretty well established unwritten rule. They can't have a sign for everything.

Haha, I wondered about this yesterday after watching the Dog whiperer on tv, I saw how people just walked with their dogs in a supermarket there and wondered why that doesn't happen here :p.

I saw an old lady take a little jack russell into my local shop in her arms, they told me to get out when I took my Irish Wolfhound into the shop in mine and my friends arms. Discrimination ftl...

all i want to know is if there is no sign on the door stating no dogs allowed am i allowed to take my dog in

If there is no sign up saying you can't **** on the floor do you think you are by default able to **** on the floor?

If they tell you that you can't bring your dog in then you'll probably have to go along with that, they don't have to put a sign up to cover every possible thing they don't want you to do/bring into their shop.

I have a very large (almost the size of a Great Dane!) white German Shepherd. If I ever take him to a shop (very rare anyway) I just go right in. Either the staff let us in, or say "sorry, no dogs allowed". At which point my dog eats them.

Point being this: get yourself a real dog, and nobody can tell you what to do :D

Absolutely this

Brilliant :D

thats for security reasons mainly. where does it state that a shop must have a sign saying no dogs allowed? they may have had bad experiences with other dogs in the past. so therefore no dogs allowed.

in my restaurant people smashed out of their heads aren't allowed due to bad experiences in the past, i'm not going to put a sign up on the front door stating this though.

seriously what age are you 12?
