Domain DNS/Email

Hi Guys,

Just a quick question.

My uncle has a domain with 1and1, and I got him his web hosting from TSO host. I added the name servers to the 1and1 domain, now email isn't being forwarded - is the email now on TSOs servers, so to speak?

When you change the nameservers, it mean's Tsohost's servers will deal with all of the mail etc to do with your domain. You'll need to setup forwarders/mail accounts etc in your control panel with them.

If 1and1 will let you, you can just keep the MX records for the domain pointing back to their mailservers and carry on using it as needed.
