RIP T293SBV :(

Why not sell it to them? it was their fault.

At first I thought there was going to have been something wrong with the car etc.

Oh well, I guess you have to waste life somewhere :p

My boyfriend sold his 306 to his friend and not long after he spun it around and ended up needing repairs. Then after that the bonnet catch wasn't right thus resulting in the bonnet coming in contact with the windscreen @ 60mph

He hasn't posted his *runaround* on here yet...

Laurio :D

I meant because I missed that car, my first car and seeing it go from:

To the above photos is quite saddening :(

I had my R5 turbo for 7 years and it was perfect. I sold it and within weeks the new owner had blown the engine, fool!

How come some people are so completely clueless about their complete lack of talent?

I don't think (I know I haven't) I've had the back end out on any of my cars.

That's included some rather fast driving on wet roundabouts... purposely trying to get the back end out!

How people get themselves in those situations I'll never know. Just idiots tbh.

Try AWD, done it twice now, once with not so great consequences :o

Proud of the other time though, drifted sideways round the outside of a van on a roundabout by accident, he thought it was very funny :D

To be fair, you have never owned a car that is prone to lift-off oversteer. You just own cars that handle like boats ;)

This is why I think reasonably potent cars and new drivers are just a stupid idea, but meh, no doubt somebody will come along in a second and say how if he had a 1.1 Saxo instead he'd have been doing exactly the same speed yada yada blah blah.

To be fair, he probably would have been, at least I assume so after hearing the story of the crash anyway. And the 1.1 would have still suffered the same lift-off oversteer.

I am in no way suggesting that a VTR is a particularly great first car, but then that is down to the talent and mentality of the driver.
