******Download Festival 2011******

Some of the other videos from that event are much better sound and video quality. Something recorded on a mobile is never going to be a good representation of a concert particularly when the venue is that size where your right on top of the speaker stack . He sounds pretty good in some of the other recordings and the times I saw him with Audioslave he was really good.

KoRn wanted to be that low, due to the Friday headliner - it is believed.

At least 21 bands to be announced Wednesday too - Including the Friday Headliner :) , but not the sub headliner :(

Some will be on Zane Lowes show and the other in Kerrang according to AC's twitter ( http://twitter.com/Maverick_AC )

Not going to either but both festivals seem to have some bands I'd want to see.
Anything Download put on the mainstage Saturday night could top Sonisphere's though.

Really would like to see In Flames and even though I stopped liking them at 15...Slipknot because I hear they are really energetic live.

On AC's Twitter last year he said that there would be one band who has never played Download before as a Headliner.

Lets check:

Def Leppard - 09
SOAD - 05
LP - 07

Maybe he has been let down by a band? Either way, poor show! From what I have heard, Def Leppard were "rubbish" in 2009 too!
 
Glad i've got my ticket for soni been really disappointed in the line up for download last few years probably since Copping became the main booker

I said to my mate earlier in a text; anyone who struts around in a white ****kicker cowboy hat thinking they look cool, is obviosuly a weapons grade *******.

He harps on, be's secret about everything, then produces announcments of crap! I'm not asking for same 'ole, same 'ole, Metallica, Maiden every year etc. But FFS someone who (by all accounts, I wasn't there, I was at a different stage at that time) got outclassed by their subheadliner (Whitesnake! How bad do you have to be for Whitesnake to perform better than you?) only 2 years ago, is asked to return as a headliner again, and headline the Friday, I'm glad its the Friday, I'll have all the more reason to get mortal beyond belief.

AC is actually a decent bloke, and does take the time to listen to fans input, somehow he still ends up with terrible lineups though :s
Bizarrely I'd be more inclined to go to download if the second stage lineup announced so far was the main stage, although obviously it would suit a slightly smaller festival.
Still intending on Sonis and maybe, maybe, working download, I'll be on the 2nd stage anyway if I do so I'll remain happy.
