Not too long till Dragon Age is out, Nov 6th, anyone getting the CE?

I noticed the UK CE seems to be rather less than the rest of the world. EA have signed an exclusive deal where only one retailer is selling it, and its missing the tin case and cloth map. Basically all the box contents of the CE. Instead we get a standard plastic dvd case.

Not the CE but will definitely be getting the game despite the EA marketing department's best efforts to put me off ;)

Definitely getting the game but on my ps3 since my pc is too old to handle it. It is supposed to play more like KOTOR than baldur's gate on the consoles though...

Nothing decent in the CE to warrant an extra £10-£15 (three extra in game items afaik).

Got my CE preordered a while ago, really looking forward to this game. I need an awesome story to get stuck into. Last game i loved the story to was KOTOR which im playing again now (just inside the starforge:D) and i think Dragon Age will.

I'll be pre-ordering the regular edition, although I've already had to cancel once when Amazon told me the game was delayed until Nov. 6, but Play were still shipping on Oct 23rd. I know it's probably a typo, but sod it, a guy can dream.

Waiting for a demo tbh. I want it but don't wanna spend my money on overhyped fail.

Not when MW2, AC2, Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2 etc etc etc are fighting for my money during the winter months.

Defo getting this - been looking forward to this for years and have had it pre-ordered for ages.

For those who want to get into the story behind the verse, I can whole heartedly recommend the book 'The Stolen Throne' by the Bioware writer behind the game; David Gaider. Was a really good book that introduced the Dragon Age verse, characters, and touched briefly on the Blight. Was a really good read imo.

As soon as I finished it I just wanted (needed) to play this game!

Does anybody have a clue if I can get the Collector´s Edition somewhere off the shelf in the Republic of Ireland?!

Thanks

Sorry, asked that question in another thread already but I am desperate at this stage. Does anybody know where I can buy the Collector´s Edition of Dragon Age: Origins off the shelf in Dublin or somewhere else in the ROI?! I asked at Gamestop but they only do the normal one...

Please help, thank you

Im not sure about where you live but here at HMV they almost always stock CE of any game. Worth phoning and asking them?

Careful of comeptitors guys. If they sell hardware or software (non games), that OCUK supply you can't dicuss them here.

I always thought it was games that meant we couldnt discuss them - the main high street retailer people buy games from hasn't sold the latest PC hardware or non games software for years for example.

Whereas OcUK has a small range of PS3 :)

I just threw that in because OCUK doesn't stock games. Really it should read "including non games", poor sentence structure on my part. The purple shop stocks antivirus and peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets etc... all of which OCUK stock. Given that i'd assume we cant dicuss them :)
