Dragon's Dogma Up for Pre-Order on Steam

Still can't find this for £12 anywhere. I suspect bovine excrement!

Decent enough port, and a great game as well. As for price, Instant-Gaming have it for around £15, and considering it was only released on PC last week is a bargain (I'd say full price is still worth it).

Well they appear to have fixed the pawn rewards. After nothing all game so far, I had 2 notifications and Rift Crystal rewards waiting for me when I rested at the Inn. Finally my pawn is appreciated :D

Just about to set out to recapture the GreatWall and starting my 3rd profession, Assassin. Sword + Bow master race haha

I'm having my FPS drop below 60 quite often with a GTX 970, however GPU usage never goes above 50%. Anyone else having an issue? I'd love to use ENB but it drops the game down to 20/30FPS due to the low usage.

Hi, my gtx 970 is at 99% gpu and most often runs the game at max settings and 3840x2160 res above 60fps. Sometimes dips below. At less resolution its always 60+.

You should not have any issue with ENB if only 1080P

But my GPU usage will not go above 50%. When my GPU hits 50% usage my FPS drops.

Drivers? CPU? RAM? First 3 things I'd check in that scenario :p Also if you're seeing expected performance from other games.

Drivers are all up to date, CPU is a 2600k, and I have 16GB of memory so that shouldn't be an issue either. All other games seem to be fine, Warframe doesn't use enough to really be a good test but Siege easily uses up all of the GPU if I start maxing settings and super sampling.

So I noticed last night I have over 1million in currency just sat there doing nothing, should I be spending this on anything, and if so what? My gear is "current" as in, the shops don't sell anything superior, I craft all my own restorative items so no money sink there.... not sure what I'm missing?

I know BBI can get expensive but I'm waiting to until NG+ to touch that.

Keep your money. Upgrades can get expensive later :D Or cheat and 1 star all your gear and then farm drakes - cheaper :p

Little tip, don't try and do the escort quest you get off one of the noticeboards in the main city at level 8.

Keep hoping someone will have hired my pawn and every time I come on I'm disappointed. Must just be a crap pawn.

That's odd I'm up to 5 pawn rent rewards now. Have you made sure to:
- Set correct skills. Fighter/warrior needs a taunt, Mage/sorc a heal etc
- Set Augument skills
- Upgrade their gear so its not all standard.

And lastly not created some shrek like monstrosity if so pay the barber in Gran Soren a visit :)

Has 3 upgraded (starred) damage skills, one of each element type and 3 healing skills, the main heal, the one that removes debilitations and some other one, all are upgraded (starred) too.

Also has every Core/Augment skill available too. As far as I know the gear is all good for the level, I always make sure to buy my main pawn the best gear I can whenever I can in the hopes she gets rented.

Tried to take a screenshot with Steam and the games interface broke.
