With TotalBiscuits video, he showed how either moving the joypad or pressing a key would autoswap between control methods.

If it's constantly picking up the X55, I'm guessing it's probably picking up the throttle as not being at zero. Try moving it to zero, or if it already is, maybe centering it might do the trick.
 
Tbh for lol's it would be fun to run the oc version and ps3 one side by side, it will be a shock if you remember it running well. Either way you enjoyed your time with it and any technical issues then didnt concern you. Some are more sensitive to fps than others i think but i remember it being sub par also

I did this with darksouls 2 and was disgusted at how i spent 50 hrs on the ps3 one like that!

Yeah my steam name is Meth3rlence -- my pawn will undoubtedly be kickass (as she was on both 360 and ps3... yes I've bought this game 3 times now :( )

Anyone running a 21:9 screen managed to get this working properly? Even playing with black borders would suffice -- as it stands it won't go into a reasonable resolution. It has 1920x1080, 1920x1200, then it jumps to 3440x1440 -- but it completely bodges the UI and appears zoomed in.. Playing at 2560x1440 would be nice enough =(
 
i got 21:9 3440x1440 stretches the screen and messes the map and UI up..

2560x1440 at 100hz with black borders is what im using atm...

gonna play it on the 50" sony later tho
 
On the fence about this game, so people please post your opinions and mini-reviews, I'll happily read them.

I'm on a strict diet to clear my backlog, can't buy a game till I beat 3, on 1.5 at the mo... .
 
Yeah that's all I see, I think DS4Windows emulates a "generic" controller. Took me long enough to figure out how to grab onto the enemy, and I've played the heck outta this game before.

I've not once said that you couldn't have enjoyed yourself or felt the framerate wasn't a problem *for you*. Please dont try and misrepresent my comments.

I just dont think there's any room in this world for saying that a game that spends much of its time running in the low 20's 'runs just fine'. I dont think I'm out of line in arguing this point. You clearly didn't realize it because you have/had low standards. Dont think you are 'the norm' here, though. Especially on a PC-gaming specific forum where people generally have higher standards.

Really enjoying this! Downloading other characters as pawns is fun.

I had to quit for tonight cause I got my ass whooped though

I rested at the first encampment and a huge Hydra attacked and actually ate me. Was that supposed to happen? Seemed a little too powerful for my party.

Regarding your problem in the spoiler tag, no, that was a failure I'm afraid ;)

One thing to take note of - make sure you're upgrading your skills and abilities (for both you and your main pawn). You can generally also upgrade your weapons and armour at least one level for little cost, so don't skimp on that.

I've put about 6 hours in so far and am loving it. I liked it on the PS3, but just gave in due to the framerate in the end (some locations were just horrendous). This is how I wanted to play it. Massively recommended, and a good price to boot.

If I remember the 360 version correctly then yes, that is supposed to happen and as I recall it took me a couple of goes to get it down.

Dammit, why is this shift so long, I wanna go home and play this!!!
 
I notice some level 160+ pawns already -- do we have the PS3/360 pawn "library" available or are some people just very hacky? lol
 
Used my remainig £10 Steam wallet so got it fairly cheap. Just beat the Hydra after getting eaten the first time..

Not sure the ENB did anything really but it still looks ok. Missed playing this game.
