DRAM Prices Surge 172% YoY with No Signs of Slowing Down

You will need to contact the store. This is a user forums or use the customer support area of the forums. Honestly I think you have your answer if has been since November the pre-order. Give them a call and ask, but I would be asking for a refund or ask them to replace them with something in stock.
Refund not an option as the Ram would cost over half my build (despite running an Nvidia 5070ti) if I were to buy it now, which I couldnt do even if I wanted to sadly. But yeah, the apprehension is real. Cheers!

Hi there

So the Chinese price drops seems an isolated incident. I've spoken to over ten memory manufacturers now and none have reduced their wholesale pricing, some have increased it. At present ONLY Corsair is doing some sell out rebates but generally quite limited.

Still saying that most of these Chinese sell of deals were dropping memory kits from around $500 USD, down towards $350 USD, so in other words they were simply attempting to scalp and got burnt, even at $350 if there stock is old they would have still made huge profits, but it seems most have now cleared through excess stocks. As such there is no official price drop and prices are still looking to be on an upward trend.

However it is not all bad news, off the back of this incident I did manage to get a supplier sell up their old stock, as such we now have a 32G kit at just £259.99, making us around £100 cheaper than the next cheapest place in the UK for a 32G DDR5 kit:

  • SKU: MEM-ADA-07185
  • EAN: 4711085945457
  • MPN: AX5U5600C4616G-DTLABBK

DDR5 RAM Kit, 32GB capacity (2x16GB), Up to 5600MHz clock speed, CL46 timings, Optimised for AMD EXPO and Intel XMP, Low-profile black heat

£400 (incl. VAT)
£260 (incl. VAT)

For those who want nicer specification memory we still have our epic deal on 32G of 6000MHz C30:

  • SKU: MEM-KLV-07036
  • EAN: 4895194968795
  • MPN: KD5AGU880-60A300L

KD5AGU880-60A300L, 6000MHz RAM Speed, CAS 30-36-36-76 Timings, 1.4v UDIMM.

£380 (incl. VAT)
£300 (incl. VAT)

In current climate these are truly amazing deals. :)

Everything looks solid to me, the slightly lower voltage is nice too. Compatible with EXPO so I'm happy with that. I'd be delighted to make the swap and get things sorted. Massively appreciate that Gibbo. It's been an anxious wait so I'm grateful for that.

Well that’s good customer service.

@Gaian youre more patient than I am. I wouldn’t have waited 5 months to find out what was happening but at least you’ve got a good result now!
Ah I sent two or three emails to customer service over that time but I understand its a difficult time so I waited it out and gave the benefit of the doubt. At 5 months though I was getting sweaty palms with no ETA and cancellation would have been catastrophic.

Will definitely remember the great customer service in the future when I'm buying @Gibbo .

Nice to see RAM prices slowly come down, still stupidly high though. My Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR5 6000 CL30 64GB 2x32GB kit hasn’t changed in price whatsoever; it went from £270 to around £1000 (+- £100) and it’s still there.

Wish I bought another kit when it was cheap. I certainly will be if it ever reaches around £300 roughly or close to it.

RAM pricing appears to be reducing if only a little.

Hopefully, this correction continues and we see the end of the procurement insanity.

That being said, if the bubble does pop, we may end up in another huge economic downturn so nobody will have the money to spend in the first place.

Hey Gibbo, is there any of the 12/24gb gigabyte kits available and what would you recommend in 2x32gb and 2x64.

Well, Trump and Putin have already made that certainty.
