Just curious to see who would admit to doing this, and their rationale for doing so...

I feel "naked" if I drive without a seatbelt, and am always conscious of the fact I haven't got it on, so I never do it. I have heard other people who openly drive without their seatbelt because it "feels more comfortable", or something.

So, who will own up to it?....

One of my friends and an uncle always drive without a seatbelt, I personally always wear them and make sure anyone in my car does. I dont feel right without one.

Nope always clunk-click here, I can feel if I have forgotten by the time I reach the end of our very short drive

Although i can be forgetful and occasionally not wear it, i fail to see how anyone could have a rationale for not wearing one on long trips. (medical exemptions aside)

I always wear mine, even just moving the car 50 meters down the road. It feels weird if I don't wear it and it's saved me from getting injured a few times.

OT: Your sig is incorrect, they do, but not very high quality stuff

Not wearing a seatbelt might be more "comfortable"...wearing the windscreen, steering wheel and airbag...hmm...not so "comfortable".

The idiot american laws which mean the car manufactures have to "protect" people who don't wear them mean all the car designs are being altered. Is this a case of natural selection?? if you too stupid to wear a saefty device then have an accident then surely thats your problem????

Well I wouldn't be posting now if I didn't wear mine so yes, I wear it all the time, even if it's a 2 minute trip to the shops.

Always wear a seatbelt, no matter how long or short the journey is. Anyone that gets in my car will wear a seatbelt otherwise the car doesnt move.

It's totally automatic for me to put a seatbelt on whether driver or passenger.

i dont get why its law tho.

The only valid reason i see is to protect idiots. For example, if i dont wear a seatbelt as a driver, and have a crash, who am i going to injure, endanger or kill? Myself. The government doesnt have a law against me jumpping from a cliff if i want to in a stupid moment, so why does it feel the need to protect ME in MY vehicle?

Just seems a weird one to me. Rear seats i understand the legality for - you could potentioally hurt/kill the person in front.

That said i generally (90%?) of the time wear my belt.

Usually yes, but I can forget it at times.

I used to wear it a lot less but after experiencing the force that was applied to my body by hitting a car at only 20mph I wear it a lot more often, I hate to experience a frontal crash at 60mph while not wearing a seatbelt.
