hi guys, as like most of you I am ****** of with DRM, is there any legal way to get music that isn't protected by that coding. Or is everyone stuck with it, even thou I have purchased the music I can't use it how I want to?

Phil J

sorry if this post seams like i'm getting at someone in a way I am, that "clever" group whi invented this ****

I would buy CD's but most of the groups I listen to are unknown and havn't released any CD's, also it's cheaper for downloads. to be honest I don't really notice any sound quality difference between CD and MP3

They haven't released any CDs, yet they're covered by DRM?
That's odd...

That's not that unheard of. One of my favourite record labels (JOOF recordings) releases all their tracks and albums on digital download only.

My advice to the OP is look for alternative sites to (i assume you are using) itunes. There are tonnes of other sites that offer better quality and without DRM protection. To be honest i can't understand why people are happy to pay for music from itunes, 128kbps *shudders*
