Hi there,
Unfortunately I forgot to do up my camera case properly this morning. As I was getting onto a train, my camera fell onto the platform. The lense is badly damaged, and the camera body is badly scuffed. In addition to this there is a black mark in the view finder, which appears irrespective of which lense I use.
The camera is a Canon EOS 400d. I am thinking along the lines of getting this sorted under my home contents insurance.
For a lower end SLR like the 400d, will they bother repairing or just replace it? Additionally, will they also repair the cosmetic damage too?
Cheers
