Hey,
While prodding around in my PC after just turning it off, I noticed the heatsink over the chipset was very hot, so hot you couldn't really keep your fingers on it with out pain. Is it normal for chipsets to run this hot?

Thanks in advance.

the DS3 chipset does get very hot, and could do with aftermarket cooling. I stuck one of those akasa NB coolers on mine, with a 40mm fan, but will be watercooling it shortly, as I decided it made too much noise (I know, I know, I'm a fuss pot).
