DS3P with a thermalright ultra 120

From searching around I have seen posts saying that this cooler fits the board but I was hopeing to fit it the other way around so that the air blows to the top of the case (antec 900) doeas anyone know if it will fit this way, will it clear the RAM?

If it has the same layout as the DS4 then yes it will fit. I have mine that way and there is no problem with the ram. You need to compare a couple of pictures side by side to determine the layouts of them both.

yes I thought they were the same. I have had mine on both ways but opted for the way you want it in the end.
Its a great cooler by the way, I have mine with an Akasa amber and its 27 idle and 39-40 under load. When I had the E6400 @3.2 it still didnt go over 44 under load, according to TAT.
