Hi all...
Ive recently upgraded to a dual monitor setup (3840x1080)

but when gaming now, as the game only appears on primary monitor the curser wont lock to the game.
this causes difficult gameplay/ some game crashing (in demigod/ ME etc)

Is there any cure?.. do many games support multi monitor?.

regards
Callum

Most games don't support multi-monitor, but on the other side, I've found that most do lock the mouse into the game, or there's an option to do that in the game. Demigod I'm pretty sure you can, I remember using it. If you have an ATI 5000 series graphics card, I believe you can use Eyefinity to play the game over both monitors, though its not something I've looked into. There's a large thread in the graphics forum about this.

Personally, I play most of my games in windowed mode now I've got dual monitors, so I can easily switch to the second monitor for checking websites while nothing's happening, or I can chat on MSN and so on.

As for games that natively support multiple monitors, the only one that comes to mind is Supreme Commander, which is a fantastic game if you like RTSs.

I see no point in dual monitor gaming if they're spanning. You'll be looking between monitors for your crosshair. If it's for FSX to show some other data fair enough. 3 monitors and eyefinity is the sweet spot atm, but even so it's a bit excessive for most games. OK if you can happily afford it though.
