Hi all,

Just got dual 17's at work and my manager has asked me to investigate a dual screen stand. The monitors are dell 1707FP. Any recommendations?

Thanks
Paul

IIRC he may have had his built by a friend too. Ergotron aren't exactly cheap but do most combinations of monitor arms, including several Dual-Monitor ones.

i wouldnt trust myself with several £100's of monitor for it to go pete tong! not with the skills i know i lack!

My dad built it (he does metal work in his sleep). They're strong enough to hold up a couple tanks I reckon :):p

It's a really sturdy stand. I can bash my desk and the monitors will barely rock at all. Whereas the default stands were flimsy and the slightest knock of the desk would make the screens wobble.

They are strong enough to hold up my two Dell 2007WFP's!

It's funny isn't it how those triple jointed old style TV wall brackets that were able to hold a 14" CRT about 3 foot from a wall were only about £30 yet these relatively simple TFT stands cost well over £100...

I've got a couple of said old style wall brackets. Looking at removing the adjustable base plate and retro-fitting a standard vesa mount on there.

Ideally I want to be able to hold 3 monitors for a TH2Go setup :D
