Dual Tuner Freeview box

I’m considering getting my old man one of these for Christmas, I’ve got a Humax 9200T which I’ve been very pleased with for the past year although not sure if this is overkill for his needs but maybe the best option as if he has any issues/problems with it I’ll find it easy to resolve.

But just out of interest are there any other dual tuner boxes worth looking at, only real requirement is that it must be able to record two channels at once (I know some can’t do this) and I’m not too bothered if it’s an 80Gb or 160Gb model.

EDIT: Managed to answer my own question, found this page http://www.pvrjunction.co.uk/compare/ which seems to cover most models.

Opted for the Humax again and picked up another 9200T from a high street retailer as I got them to price match the online prices.

Another High Street Electrical Store has it listed on their website @ £171.

I saw that, but there's also a £9.99 P&P fee so was easier for me to grab it from the local store.

Also that High Street Electrical Store no longer has high street branches and the renamed shops are only selling them at £199.99.
