So, err how is it done nowadays?

I have the following kit that is going into a new Besta TV unit as per my other thread:
- Panasonic GT60
- old Marantz stereo amp (infrared)
- Virgin TiVo (infrared)
- FireTV (bluetooth)
- Sony BD player

I'd like to put doors on the TV unit but I can't work out exactly how hard this is going to make my life to control all of these

I'd like to eventually get a Harmony but I'm unsure if this would help with the old Marantz amp, it's also not on the cards now seen as we've spent a small fortune since moving house! So, in the meantime do I need an IR blaster or something? :o

With the Harmony One wouldn't I need an IR repeater as well?

EDIT: Sorry I think I mean the Ultimate, haven't researched much about them yet. tldr; If I buy a Harmony do I need anything else?

I use the 'ELEGIANT Infrared Remote Control Receiver Extender Repeater Emitter USB Cable Adapter' to control my tivo box inside my cupboard.
Thanks, can you power it from the TiVo? I can't remember off-hand but Googling seems to suggest there's two usb sockets on the back. And I'd just need another one for my amp?

Ah, that part I didn't understand :) The Harmony Ultimate or Ultimate One?

I just remembered I have an IR remote for my HDMI switcher, and also my Apple TV is IR. Wonder if I should plump for one of the Neet IR hub things. Or save for a Harmony. Hmn..
