Currently assembling bits for a rig and while ultimately decided on the parts, one final piece of confusion abounds with regards memory sizings and the like.
I want to fit an Akasa Viper (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-072-AK&tool=3) into a CM 690 II Advanced Dominator (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-196-CM) along with 8GB's of Corsair XMS3 Ram (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-290-CS).
The system, itself, is an SB2500k on a P8P67 PRO and I plan to overclock. I was reading around and I've seen that some people require low profile ram when the cooler is huge.
Am I... one of those people?
