DVD Drive keeps spinning up

I have a Dell Vostro 1400, if there is a disc in the DVD drive it keeps spinning up every 2 mins or so, for no particular reason. Is there anyway way to find out what app is requesting the drive to spin up ? Its kinda getting on my nerves and annoying having to take the CD out each time.

not sure, but you could try disabling autorun see if that stops it???
