Hi all,

Quick Question please...

I sold a game on eBay - The buyer sent me payment via a Postal Order.

...now I have never ever used or had a Postal Order before, so I don't know much about how they work..

Anyhow... the Postal Order was posted over a week ago, and I still haven't received it :(

What can I do? Can the Postal Order be 'cashed' in by anyone that gets their hands on it? Does the Postal Order have any secuirty or reference number..? So that it can be stopped / cancelled etc..?

Thanks

Would depend totally on how it was set up when it was bought by the buyer. They can either be written out to an individual or left so that anyone can cash them.

The buyer however will have the "stub" end of the PO, which will have a serial number on it, probably a good start.

The sender claims she has a reference of some sort for the Postal Order as it was done electronically?
