Well you've said you can't pay by paypal and you want to pay by cheque, just wait for him to reply to you with his address. The ball's in his court really, even if it wasn't sellers only really start getting annoyed if they haven't received payment or contact 2/3 days after the auction ends.

i contacted him by mail as soon as auction finished on sunday aft, and yesterday twice... any idea what the paypal issue i had is all about... thanks again

Not a clue, just make sure you get it sorted as paypal are not known for caring about their customers.

The best thing you can do is continue to use eBay's messaging service to contact him.

There's a feature of eBay that allows you to request additional contact information, such as phone numbers etc.

If you are failing to reach him by email try that.

eBay is safer if you cover yourself too, so send your check by recorded delivery and keep the receipt :)

meths whats the remark about grammer sposed to mean... i asked for an answer not a english lesson from a sweaty sock

I don't want to drag this too far off topic but if there were no grammar police then the quality of posts on these forums would be even worse than it is now. If you don't want people to pick you up on it then try proof reading what you've typed before posting it.

Please do not change your writing style, regardless of what people in here say.

If you genuinely are so dull that you can't even speak or write simple English, then people deserve to know that they are dealng with a dull person.

This way, we can treat you in the appropriate manner.

Yeah, and I was looking forward to reading a nice juicy ebay thread, and just got post after post of grammer discussion to read.:(

basmic your obviously the grammar police sergeant. because you obviously go into posts and quote the same thing. notice you have around 10,000 posts. i wonder if 9999 are the same quote.......

For all you guys know the guy could be dyslexic or just naturally very, very bad with written English.

I totally agree.

I had no problem understanding his post.

people are too quick to jump on the 'OMG grammar' boat.

Gaaah now you just completely destroyed my defence. You could at least have pretended to be a bit cack or a bit simple, rather than just being a lazy sod. And for the record, spelling/grammar does reflect on how people view you on the internet... just as in real-life.

Oh is that right? Show me 5 posts with the same quote, and I'll give you my left leg.

Fact is, this is the seond time I have said that - and this is the only time I have quoted it.
