E3 Wii: Demos running on Gamecube hardware?

I'd be extremely impressed if they were! Some of those demos looked fantastic and if it was Gamecube hardware then its a true testament of what can be eventually squeezed out.

Not only that, but if it looks good on Gamecube hardware imagine what it'll look like on the Wii.

It appears that the Demos at E3 were run on Gamecube hardware, not Wii hardware.

If you look amongst the wires you'll see a Gamecube console.
