Started reading more & figured out the PS3s were not the PS2 replacement that they should be.
Whereas the CSC5s are a nice upgrade from the 3s

The wet performance of these is unreal!
I'm really rather liking this rubber, feels like a noticable upgrade from the PS2s and it's not just new rubber syndrome

They just seem unaffected by some surprisingly large/deep puddles... I keep driving through them to double check I'm not going crazy lol (oh, I already am 
)
The slightly softer sidewalls give a more comfortable ride and yet i'm sure they're a little bit more communicative too.
Wasn't expecting such a noticeable improvement from the PS2s.

Pilot Supersports are the new PS2, not the PS3
Yurp, know that now... but they carry a hefty premium... very happy with the CSC5s

No... Michelin PS2 -> CSC5
And yes, road noise has decreased moving between these too.
Quite a few small improvements like that... but the major improvement is by far the wet performance...
I don't remember the CSC3s being this good, but didn't spend long with them in an M3 on a wet track and they may have been low on tread, not sure now.
