Hiya

Just upgraded my board, cooler & video card.

Abit IP35 Pro XE.
E6600 cooled by Arctic Freezer 7
Video is 4850.
2Gig (2x1) PC5300 Crucial Ballistix
Tagan 480W.

I appriciate that E6600's are old hat, but wondered if anone could suggest some settings to try?

Cheers
Scott

Could try 9x378Mhz to get 3.4Ghz. I had to use 1.4v to get Orthos stable.
(This worked for me but may not for you)
I would read the overclocking stickies though.

My E6600 is still going strong - 3.6 was most I've had it too - 400x8 and 376x9 where my usually clocks with a IP35 pro. Cpu at 1.35 bios (1.45 windows) with .1v on the NB and 2.05v on the Ram

The E6600 is running at 3.0 now at 1.1v bios (1.2 windows) in a P5Q :)

sorry to drag up and old thread but i'm doing a build based on

Abit IP35 Pro
E6600 cooled by Arctic Freezer 7
2x2gb PC6400 OCZ Ram

And was wondering if you could give me any advice on OC it. I understand 3.2 is quite obtainable on air. Do you have some settings I could try to obtain this?

An E6600 and an IP35 Pro should be a pretty simple set-up to overcock.

3.2ghz should be obtainable on near default voltages. Just keep your memory around 800mhz.
