I have a E6600 and a Tuniq Tower 120 and I am looking to overclock. I have looked over the general guides and it sounds like I should get a good clock out of it...

1. What would people say is the best way to do it? Can I simply go into the bios ( EVGA nForce 680) and move the multiplyer up?

2. How much should I beable to push it? I have a good case (Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming case) so a lot of air moving.

3. Will I effect anything else on the board by changing the setting ?

Sorry if this is kinda noob but I am not that confident at this time..

Thanks

1. Can only move multpier down on E6600

2. Can never exactly say as all chips are different but 3.0ghz+ probably with good cooling.

3. Might need to increase volts to cpu, mem nb etc as well as increasing fsb and altering multiplier. Will need to lock pcie.

There are quite a few guides around and would suggest you only attempt overclocking when understand some of the basics - this will help you to determine which is at fault if not reaching basic oc.
