E92 headlamp washer cover gone

It works fine, along with all the other checks I'm more than capable of doing (which includes not paying £7 to buy a reset tool, because it can all be done through the odo reset) :D

Yes, thats exactly how it looks. I've even made it an SE for the lolz. :D

All of my cars have always been and always will be maintained regardless of cost, whether that be by me, or a dealer, or both.

I would quite happily avoid taking it to my local dealer given that they can't even tell the year change sump capacity differences, and then overfill my car with oil :)

Except for the bit where you simply skipped a scheduled service. 75% of buyers wont be interested in any story you may to explain why you simply didn't bother. Thats if they even stay more than 5 seconds on your advert once it becomes clear it doesnt have FSH.

Cool, that leaves 75% who will still buy it :)

You think it's going to be hard to ship a well below average (for the type of car) 57 plate 530d in immaculate condition when the time comes. It really isn't. Even more amusing is that somehow you're all under the impression it's up for sale, or will be very shortly. I haven't really decided what to do with it yet. I may just keep it and give it to the mrs to run into the ground and i'll get an F10.

Is that the sort of maths you used to make it worth doing? :D

No FSH on a car like that turns most of the market off until it's right down to the bottom end of the market where you then get the sort of buyers who dont care. If you plan to keep it for another 6-7 years then fine, but you constantly drop hints about buying 6 Series, M3's, etc etc so I doubt a change is far away, meaning you will suffer a loss greater than £140 it would have cost to simply have the service done. Heck even getting an indy to do it for 50 quid would have been better than just not bothering.

Doesn't say 'maintained regardless of cost'. It says the opposite.

Anyway I thought you were about to do 'big miles' in it hence your change in oil change frequency? Now suddenly it's going to be 'well below average'?

Opps, had 25 in my head, wrote 75. Fail :(

My 6 series / M3 hints where when I was due to hand this car back. That's now no longer the case. Earliest change will be this time next year but that doesn't mean I'll get rid of the E60.

You guys are far to easy to wind up, and I know already fox will not sleep tonight. But it's ok, I'll save my £140 and just buy this when the time comes

backtracking? Not at all. Moreso, the service isn't due yet, so I can't be accused of "limiting my potential buyers" if it's not had a service, because, it doesn't actually need one :p :)
