I chop about a lot, and my team is poor, just all players I've packed! I noticed that people I have on PSN don't show up on the EAFC leaderboard. I don't think I have been able to see friends' squads for years, though, since the days of being able to play them offline. I think I'm playing a 4132, massively open in the middle, but it works better than all the ones I've tried, including all the meta stuff.
 
My current team. Not exactly meta but it plays quite well. I've just packed Nico Williams untradeable and reload Cubarsi, so will swap out Nwaneri and Tomori.

I think I'll evo Ward-Prowse and swap him in for Gallagher too. All of these players are rubbish at set pieces :p

Mbeumo is the only tradeable player because I thought well, why not - and he's actually really good. A bit weak, but very quick and a great finisher. I'll probably sell him when I get a decent untradeable striker.

Does anyone know the fix for when your squad keeps defaulting to another formation and players are out of position? Doing my head in! Had it in FC25, not sure how I sorted it.

How’s everyone finding it this year, I’ve just managed to use a full untradable team and buy stoichkov and he’s unreal. Getting bored of being hammered by Pina I know that much.

Same problem I've had since the switch to frostbite, defending is useless, tackle button only works if your opponent chooses to take you and run/walk at you 1v1 or it's pointless.

I'm all for going away from an over reliance on AI for defending for you, but I find most games online stale and predictable as they're tactic is just to never take me on and constantly evade me.

Before anyone starts saying I'm useless at the game I go 11-13 wins on weekend league usually

and my seasons record is 60 wins 2 draws 3 losses (non fut) and Div 2 in rivals

I just wish they'd make defending an actual useable thing when I'm manually controlling the guy I need to, to win the ball pack/apply pressure.

It's made even worse with the imbalance of FUT by design.

At least this year I didn't spend any money on packs :D

my love for football keeps me playing somewhat, but I'll be trying out UFL again this weekend (inferior game)

that or I'll have to keep booting the emulator for rounds of PES 1-6 until I die I guess

I’m enjoying it more than the last, but still has many problems. I’m just disappointed it’s the same setup in rivals, it becomes a chore to play especially how long it can take to get 30 points, and with little reward for it.

I stay away from twitter as it’s a toxic place, the game has become people’s lives, it’s mad.

That said, looking forward to COD Friday and mixing it up.
 
The biggest issue for me is gameplay delay, I was trying to play most of my Champs games yesterday and it was soooooooooo slow. Later on it sped up again and was a lot better. The rewards are also pretty rubbish unless you can get 10~ wins.

I think if they could get the servers to be consistent, this years game is actually not too bad. Still plenty of annoying things though.
 
I've made the decision to uninstall. I enjoyed it at the beginning, but I play the same variation of players over and over. Same mechanic abusers too. It's not for me this year and think this will be my last one.
 
I'm pretty fed up with it now.

Hugely inconsistent gameplay, and the patches just seem to make things generally worse (including more menu glitches).

Every game is a total sweatfest nightmare and there's not much fun to be had, and the rewards aren't really good enough considering the effort that has to be put in.

Also the matchmaking doesn't seem to work properly, the quality of opponent just varies wildly from game to game.
 
I've tried to stay away from Rivals as that seems to be the sweatiest place. Some of the other options have been quite fun. I've enjoyed the different teams for Gauntlet as its refreshing not to use the same players over and over.
 
Rivals just seems weird this year, usually by now I'm yo-yoing between Div 2 and 3, this year I can't get out of 5, the standard is very high.

Same here, I’m just not enjoying it, it’s so frustrating. Facing sweatlords doing skill cancels in ‘lowly’ div5 is just annoying beyond belief.

Champs doesn’t seem much better either, the matchmaking is all over the place. The rewards for 7/8 wins really aren’t worth the effort.

I’ve tried to just play and not care, but I’m way too competitive :(

That's the problem, online gaming is now just too competitive, hence everyone uses the same players, same format, same ways of scoring, nothing is fun about it anymore. And ultimately, no one likes losing, so they start resenting the game.

Champs has become th eonly 'enjoyable' mode, Rivals is just exhausting, I honestly can't believe the standard of player I'm playing in Division 5.

Its taking all my (admittedly not very much) skill to stay in division 6 :D
