Easiest way to secure files?

I have a few personal files that i don't want anyone having access to such as login details and serial keys etc. At the moment i'm simply creating a zipped folder in windows and adding a password, but this doesnt stop the chance for people to simply delete the whole folder.

I have winrar (free) but i can't seem to add any security to my files. Is there another application that can do what i am after?

Microsoft Private Folders should do the job for you.

You can password protect a 7Zip .7z file. Or use TrueCrypt.

Interestingly I've heard of Microsoft Private Folders but have never been able to find it for download before. Trying it out now. :cool:

WinRAR with a decent password (Upper-case, Lower-case, characters and numbers) is practically un-crackable.

I find truecrypt very nice to use.
