Thanks to Booner showing me some nice pics of his lights, I Just bought:

Osram Diadem PY21W (Indicators)
Osram Night Breaker H7 (Dips)
Osram Cool Blue W5W (Sides)

Shame it's such a pain in the bum to fit them... off to my local friendly indy to get them done once they arrive.

Are the Night Breakers all they are cracked up to be? Going to be driving down to cornwall in the next month so the extra light on those dark roads will definitely be needed.. :D

My bank manager will be in tears soon... respray on Monday (front bumper, bonnet, and a wing mirror casing) but at least it's mate's rates. :D

Well if there are recommendations for mains, I'll get some - Will get the whole lot swapped out at the same time :) I haven't a clue what to go for tbh. From the raving going on with the NightBreakers I was sort of assuming I wouldn't need uprated mains...

Well, I didnt get main beams for mine. For me, main beam at stock can see fine - and I hardly use main beam. Dipped is where the main usage is, and where I want quality.

Agree with this. That is what I advised too. I have nightbreakers and rarely use my mains, or even forget to use them because the dipped nightbreakers are sufficient!

Diadems indicators are in the post Solari ;)

Cheers dude :)

Yeah - I figure that if I'm going to swap bulbs though, I may as well do the whole lot. I'd be a bit miffed if I got them all changed except for mains, and then had one of the mains blow shortly after (not sure how old those bulbs are). I do use my mains down some country lanes at night now and then where there's no streetlighting whatsoever. *shrug* It's not that much extra cash so may as well do it.

Agreed, the biggest difference I've found with Nightbreakers is main beam. Dipped is better than standard, but main beam is now very effectrive and excellent for country lanes. If you can afford to, upgrade those as well.

when people talk about dipped and main what exactly do you mean?

are we on about high beam at any point as dipped to me if literally that... the lights you put on at dusk. how that means you can see in pitch black i have no idea?

I think by high beam you mean main, and by dipped as dusk you mean side lights, dipped are the one's you normally use during the dark.

Yeah I ordered some mains :D Is it worth getting anything else in particular for front fogs as well while I'm at it?
