Whats the plus model?...i have the ac ryan playon mini hd which is the exact same one in the original OP.
Yes works fine...its a bit slow ie theres no real improvement in the menu searching etc but i like it albeit a bit slow when navigating menus but it looks much much nicer than the original GUI in all honesty.

Whats the difference between the mini 1 and 2?

Slightly faster chipset, gigabit lan and usb3 I believe and GUI2 installed from factory.

Original models at launch where 1073dd chipset, they then became 1073dd+ and allowed HD audio pass through.

Easyrider do I recall reading that you have now gone the way of the HTPC?
Considering you can easily get a very decent Blu-ray playing HTPC for less than £200 these days that play everything you can imagine and bit stream HD audio, I just don't see the point in these media players if you're already PC-savvy. Waiting for firmwares etc. just seems like a massive ballache.

Arrgghh this things driving me nuts. I cant get the wireless to work. I have done all the reg tweaks on ryons website. I did get it to work before (by a fluke no idea what I did).
But I have since had to do a reinstall, now I cant get it to work again. This is getting on my wick.
Can any one help.
