Anyone have experience with these? My sensor is goosed and is lighting up the CEL practically every time I drive the car now so I need a new one.
It uses a 4 wire Zirconia sensor and I've seen these sold without a plug on the bay for a fifth of the Mitsi dealer price which seems like a steal, soldering is hardly a big deal. I wonder if these sensors are actually any good though, It's no use saving a bit of cash if it won't work properly on the car.

You can't solder them, you have to use proper crimp connection which should be supplied with the sensor. Generic sensors from brand names such as NKT or Bosch are fine, Chinese made unbranded ones...well, same as most other unbranded Chinese stuff.

I bought a generic Renault lambda from the bay, it was making my car over fuel so badly and making it loose ~20hp. Made it fail the emissions by 8% also. Got a new NTK (NGK) from my local motors for £40 and it worked a treat.

Id be wary of cheap ebay ones, most folk seem to buy bosch ones from just lambda, on my remap mine was gone and the mapper just went and picked one up from a local motor factors, seem to be working fine.

I might try a wideband at some point seeing as my simtek supports it.
