Bought a wallet over 2 months ago, still not arrived.
1 month ago, seller says he contacted royal mail and the item has been "lost" so he says he sent another one...still nothing 5 weeks on.
he wont refund me, how do i go about getting my money back?

Cheers

Merry Christmas :D

I bought a midi keyboard a few weeks ago from ebay, it was listed as "mint" condition and was £125.

When I recieved it, it definitely wasn't mint condition, and considering I paid somewhat close to the RRP of the keyboard (though it wasn't in stock anywhere) I was rightfully annoyed that it was sold as mint condition.

After trying to sort it out with the seller, who just ignored me, I opened an ebay dispute on it with the subject "not as described".

4 Days later, I get an email telling me I have been refunded £125 by eBay International. :D

On my ebay account, it also said that "you nor the seller have been deemed responsible".

So I get a free keyboard, and the seller isn't out of pocket either, I wanted a partial refund, but I would have felt bad had they been required to refund me themselves in full.

Oh, my point, act fast with eBay, even if you think you may be acting too soon, you're just covering yourself, an opened dispute can be closed and resolved with both parties happy.

You can open a dispute in the ‘Resolution Centre’ of your PayPal account within 45 days of payment in the even that:
You don’t receive the item you purchased
You receive an item but it is significantly different to the description on eBay

Taken from the paypal website - I think even should be event. :p
