Ebay shelling

Because if you want to post like a smarmy **** who knows better than everyone else then you should be prepared to actually back it up with something.

You know, like another plausible explanation. It should be easy enough, given the tone of your previous post? Sounds like there must be LOADS of plausible explanations?

I won't hold my breath though.

Mmm, Dudley. That's my town. I personally would keep putting a £0.01 bid on it to remove the BIN price and let this fool wait it out again. When he realists it, do the same over and over again. It will **** him off.

uniQ is obviously the seller ;).

It's blatantly obvious isn't it, and there can be no other plausible explanation or reason for my posts in this thread. :p

All joking aside based on the calibre of responses in here so far. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the GD hive mind actually believed that as true. I'm out before the challenges for me to prove otherwise roll in, in 3...2.....

We won't ask you to prove that until you've bothered to back up the rubbish you were spouting earlier, given we all know you won't do that, you've nothing to worry about ;)

what difference does it make if you bid in the last 10 seconds or the first 10 seconds? if you are willing to pay £180 for something, then whack £180 bid in. if it goes over that then you were never gunna buy it anyway, if it goes for the same amount or less then you got what you want. whatever happens in between shouldn't make any difference

Because in the meantime someone whos willing to pay more can keep bidding until they reach your 180.00 bid and carry it over and thus ruin it, whilst if you bid that witihin the last 5-10 secs you don't give them enough time to do it.

I watch items on Ebay, decide on my top price, then bid in the last few seconds, providing it hasn't exceed my preset price.

Seldom loose an item.

I do this as well. Every time I put an early bid, someone just keeps upping by £1 till they find my max and go a bit over.

Not had much luck lately though, as for some reason people keep bidding stuff to RRP or in some cases, higher than the RRP.

Always bid in the time period where you cannot withdraw bids. If the seller listing the item cancels the bid and then you know something is up.

Also be very wary of second chance offers where shill bidding might be happening.
