Eclipse Home Broadband - is it port throttled on P2P?

From my recent experience, Eclipse is heading downhill. They're moving customers onto LLU without telling them - with disasterous results. My 8Mb connection was pretty slow, too.

There are still many better ISPs.

Usenet and P2P is throttled @ 2meg speeds at all times on Evolution Packages, and speed is generally poor, one of the many reasons im migrating away.

Im getting terrible speeds all round on evo 3, and Im getting sick of it tbh. They were a great ISP 2 years ago. I would change but I dont think anyone else offers the same deal at the same price but reliably. Maybe im expecting too much.

This is what I was on. You'll have to accept either a cap of some sort (IDnet/Zen give you 30/20Gb at the same price as Evo3), or shorter peak time: Nildram give you unlimited between midnight and 8am, and 50Gb/month peak time allowance. And a far better service with no shaping, for only another £1/month (£25.99).
