EK Water Blocks, Ljubljana based premium computer liquid cooling gear manufacturer, is proud to announce company's first fully in-house engineered computer cooling fan, designed and built primarily for highest-performance computer liquid cooling systems - the EK-Vardar. This product is the result of one year worth of development, CFD analysis, careful motor selection and anechoic chamber testing.

Dubbed Vardar, this family of cooling fans carry the name of a type of the cold northwesterly wind blowing from the mountains down to the valleys of Macedonia. It is a type of ravine wind, enhanced by a channelling effect while blowing down through the Moravia-Vardar gap, bringing cold conditions from the north to the Thessaloniki area of Greece. Most frequent during winter, it is blowing in the rear of a depression when atmospheric pressure over eastern Europe is higher than over the Aegean Sea.

hm looks rather poor build quality with nothing "extra"...
I dont rly like "just-simple-plastic-thats-it" style.

They could add antivibration rubbers for example

Anti vibration isn't needed on a rad.

It looks bog standard because its best to keep things simple. The black in will no doubt sell by the truck load.

The Gentle typhoons looked just the same yet were the best built fans on the market.

EKWB know what's up. They won't have made a crap fan.

And besides, if you want a cheaper option, there will.be the OcUK rad fan available soon too.

Why a red sleeve?

Red and black is the most used colour combo? Perhaps just being different?

I don't know really.

Rich, any chance of getting a sample of the OcUK-Silverstone fan for testing in a small roundup of the newer fans? Mostly going to carry on what Martin from Martin liquid labs did.
