EK vs XSPC soft tubing?

The XSPC 11/16 tubing is £3 a meter, and EK 11/16 tubing is like £6 a meter.

Is the EK one substantially, or even ANY, better than the XSPC to warrant double the price?

Any thoughts?

I've used both in the past, not much between them. Shame your on 11/16 if you had 16/10 then Mayhems tubing is the best I've used and comes in cheaper than XSPC and EK.

Hmm actually can 10/16 tubes stretch enough over the fittings?

Wait hang on a minute... do I have the EK 10/16 or 12/16 fittings...? Oh crap I gotta go and check first. I hope mine are actually 10/16.

Mayhems 16/10mm is all that I will use nowadays. I have tried just about every other brand and the Mayhems stuff is by far the best value for money. It is nice and flexible and easy to work with as well. The vast majority of my fittings are 16/11mm (7/16") and the Mayhems tubing fit them all with no problems. The compression fittings are a little tight to do up but it's no big deal. I also have some 1/2" barbs (out of sight) in the loop and it fits over those as well as long as you dip the end of the tubing in hot water first.

Ok I'm a bloody idiot. Mine are actually 10/16! I got them confused with my spare ones which are 12/16.

Mayhems it is then! :D Thanks guys.

Late to the party but totally agree, had no issues with using Mayhems stuff.
They now also do a White tubing I have heard... must get round to testing.

Can't say anything about Mayhems but I've used XSPC on my last two builds with zero issues.

I'll be doing some long due maintenance on my loop in the coming weeks, so i'll give the Mayhems a go and see what it's like :p
