Elect Design Engineers! Get in here! HNC Elect Engineering career advice wanted

I just meant that all disciplines use AutoCAD (Inst, Electrical, Piping & Structural) but that Structural also used 3D modeling software.

/edit - apologies, did you mean hands on engineers - rather than design engineers?

Nope im talking electronic circuit design. Didnt know autocad had a schematic capture and layout version. Might try it out at some point, but im sure its going to be hard to use compared to other schematic capture and layout programs.

I had thought the same, but understand it is used for layout. I think you can download a free trial version of autocad. http://crystalcoasttech.com/blog/autocad-2008-free-trial just if you wanted to play around.
