HM Revenue & Customs

The form asks for all sorts of information, like card numbers, mothers maiden name, address etc.

I'm not sure whether I've actually given my email address to them so don't know if this is legit. Also there is spelling mistakes lol. I take it this is less then kosher?

An email from someone you don't know is offering you money.

Go figure.

PS. That is the most blatant scam email ever after Mr George Abadubedgwendo wanting to give you his family's inheritance.

The would send you a letter not an email. Plus they're addressing you as "Applicant" and not your real name. in any case, have you applied for anything?

Bad grammar, dont phone us, crap puntuation etc etc.

Disregard, continue life.

I am astounded you even opened the attachment. Never ever open attachments unless you know for sure the sender is legit, ie: you are expecting email or you have subscribed to a mailing list.....omg.

I didn't open the attachment, I'm not that dumb :o The info fields were all below the above email(didn't include them in the quote)

I haven't applied for anything, I guess it was the email senders address that threw me off. [email protected]. I already got back 300 quid this year, I thought they'd wanna give me more cos I'm still getting raped on taxes lol.

Surely if they've already given you £300 you know how they get in contact with you so would know instantly?
