Well, i was supposed to be paid what i'm owed last Tuesday nd i've not been paid yet, i've got all my direct debits due out tomorrow and no wages to cover them, luckily, i can get hold of the money to cover them, but i'm half tempted to be charged and pass them on to ex employer, if i could be bothered i would, but i don't want to risk it.
I've contacted my ex employer to ask the whereabouts of my wages, they say they have been processed but not cleared yet (this was last week, not been able to contact them since). They have still not cleared obviously.
I've got an appointment at the solicitors this afternoon, and have already sought legal advice on the phone, but i want to contact my ex employer again today and ask for my wages to either be in my bank or my hand by 2pm today, or i will go to the solicitors and go for what i'm owed, statutory holiday pay* and to have them fined for not providing staff with a wage slip. Should i ask for anything else, like inconvenience of borrowing money to cover DD's?
*Also, would i be right in thinking, that because i never signed a contract, i'm automatically entitled to stat holiday pay (april - april), as opposed gto their contracts' Jan-Jan?
