Gainward suggests that 400w is required, my works with an antec 380w psu, I don`t know if 30w less than this would just be too low  .
If you have lots of other bits and bobs connected then you will need more juice, mine has worked with 2x hard drives and 2x dvd-rw drives, now on just x1 of these.

 but do you have a gainward 7800gt 512mb card that is also working with them there x4 HD ?

The 7800 series of cards use less power than the 6800 series if I remember rightly so it shouldn't prove to be a problem since Enermax make good PSUs and full load isn't often experienced, it will be fairly close to the limit I'd think but should work :)

Hope you are right, fingers crossed ;)

If the PSU you have is the EG365AX-VE model enermax, then it has 26A on the 12v which is pretty good considering.

You should be ok. The standard 7800GS cards seem to recommend 20A, so this one isn't likely to be 6A higher.

BINGO, i think the reason that lots of gfx cards say they need 400w + is because not all psu's are the same.

i think they put a 400w minimum because lots of people still use cheapo psu's an enermax 350w or a qtec 500w i know what i would prefer :p

should be fine, my brother was running a an overclocked prescott with a 6800GT + raid 0 on a 350w antec and it was fine

FYI a 7200rpm drive only uses 10 watts when seeking and about 6-7 watts when idle. Compared to a 7900..
