LOL mighty??...Aussies have been in decline for some time now, hardly mighty:p.

LOLworthy batting by the Aussies, 113-6 off 35 overs, they will be lucky to make 150 at this rate. They havent got enough wickets to carry them through.

Must say England have been absolutely superb throughout the ODI series, giving the Aussies a good ole bashing.

Almost forgot this was on with all the other sport going on and the now completely un-newsworthy event that we are dominating the Aussies at cricket :p

Gotta respect the English intensity in what is a slightly out-of-place series, this side is really going places :cool:

Great to see us playing at home so hopefully we can take it on the road too.

Only slight disappointment in the series if we're being picky is the fielding has been a tad shoddy at times. Sure they will work on that though.

You would hope they would improve however our poor fielding was one of the main reasons we crashed out of the World Cup and that was over 12 months ago..

I would say Englands biggest weakness is having nobody in the top 4 who can go in and smash the ball around unlike most other big nations(Australia have Warner, South Africa have De Villiers etc.). However we are winning lots of ODI's so if it ain't broken, don't fix it as they say.
 
We are doing well from forgetting trying to ape everyone else and playing our own game. We have players down the order who can whack it but we seem to be thriving on having a solid base from the top order which should be good enough in 9 games out of 10.
 
Is it me or does Bopara look as though he's lost some weight and gained some muscle. Looks like an athlete now, perhaps that has helped his bowling a tad.
 
Real pity that England couldn't have done the 5-0. Always great to see Aussies getting hammered. Haven't watched much this series but the TMS guys say Bopara has been great. That is good news.
