LOL no we didnt take a beating;)...a beating would have been 3-0. 4-0 or 5-0...you got extremely lucky with Fabianski literally gifting you your 2nd goal...if it hasnt been for that then it would have probably ended up a draw.

Plus with malteaster head ie Silvestre in defence starting we havent got a chance in hell of keeping a clean sheet.

But well done to you lot...got pretty lucky with some very slack defending but even worse still a thoroughly rubbish Arsenal performance quite simply.

still shocked Chelsea have let the 4 point lead slip they will for sure feel the pressure even more now.
 
I cant believe we threw away 3 pts against wigan today. 2-0 up and we lose in the last 15minutes.

If we dont make two, three or four 10m plus signings in the summer I can easily see Fabregas and some others leaving this season.

We would still only had an outside hope in hell of winning the league if we won today but at least it would have shown that we are contenders. I dont think we have done any better than last year, I just think Chelski and Utd havent done as well.

I just heard on the radio during the week that he was in Barcelona seeing a specialist and thought how handy that was as he could cross the T's and dot the I's whilst he's there ;)
 
damn damn damn damn damn damn damn. I was hoping he was going to try and play through it so he didn't miss the world cup and then carry the injury problems over into next season. Liverpool's chance of beating Chelsea just nosedived somewhat.

What on earth do they keep choosing to play Fabianski? The boy needs a spell as a number one keeper in the Championship. He's in over his head at the moment.

I seriously hope our defence is addressed over the summer. Some of our games have been beyond ridiclious now.

Arsenal better pull their bloody socks up. At this rate Spurs are going to pinch 3rd. So much for actually thinking we were in with a shout at the title two week ago! We threw it away! :(

Surely some of our reserve team/youngsters have to be better than the weak links in our back line, surely?

And tbh if Fabregas goes i dont blame him at all...he deserves much better than what we have...we cant always rely on him to pull us out of a tricky situation.

Can only hope with Chamakh coming to us after the summer...he looks immense and i hope he adds something to the squad ie firepower. WE definitely need to address our back 4 at the moment and our goalkeepers...Fabianski shouldnt have played today...maybe Almunia had a bad day against Spurs but he should have got the nod...when i saw the team sheet with Fabianski and Silvestre starting...i thought this is going to be messy and it turned out to be a very messy result for us ie no pts in the last 2 games....make it 3 next week as well.

Who was that CB who was playing in the preseason friendlies? Bartlett or someone like that. Supposedly the next tony adams...

Why not play him? I would rather we had Senderos in there than Silvestra.
